About the report
The implementation cost is only half of the equation. Whether AI automation pays off depends on how much working time and lost revenue you win back every month. This report shows how to calculate it before you spend anything.
Implementation costs follow our AI integration price list. The example below illustrates the model, not a market average: plug in your own numbers to get a real result for your company.
ROI model
- ROI = (annual savings − annual running costs) ÷ (implementation cost + annual running costs). Payback period = implementation cost ÷ net monthly savings.
- Monthly savings = hours of work taken over by AI × hourly cost of an employee + revenue from leads and bookings that used to be lost.
- Implementation cost: chatbot or AI pilot EUR 1,900 - 6,000, voice agent or AI agent EUR 6,000 - 19,000, full process automation from EUR 19,000 net.
- Monthly costs: LLM API tokens, telephony (for voice agents), hosting and monitoring. Usually EUR 120–1,200 per month, depending on volume.
- Example: a EUR 6,000 voice agent takes over 120 hours of calls a month at a labour cost of EUR 20/h and costs EUR 350 a month to run. Net savings are EUR 2,050 a month, so it pays back in about 3 months.
