About the report
AI adoption in companies is growing fast, but Poland still trails most of Europe. We compare official Eurostat data (ICT usage in enterprises survey, companies with 10+ employees) with what we see in our own AI projects.
The figures come from Eurostat (2025). Observations from our projects are qualitative conclusions, not a statistical survey.
Key findings
What we discovered
- In 2025, 20.0% of EU enterprises used AI technologies, up from 13.5% a year earlier (Eurostat).
- In Poland the share was 8.4%, second lowest in the EU; only Romania was lower (Eurostat, 2025).
- Among large EU enterprises, 55% already use AI. The gap between large and small firms is the biggest opportunity for SMEs today (Eurostat, 2025).
- From our projects: narrowly scoped projects pay back fastest, such as a customer-service chatbot, a booking voice agent and document workflow automation.
- From our projects: a pilot succeeds when one measurable goal (e.g. response time or tickets handled) and data access are agreed before it starts.
