Problem we solved
MedConnect, a growing healthcare network, faced a critical gap in their digital services. Patients had no way to book appointments online or consult with doctors remotely, leading to long phone queues, missed appointments, and frustrated patients who increasingly expected modern telehealth options.
The organization needed a comprehensive telemedicine platform that would handle video consultations, appointment scheduling, and patient record management — all while meeting strict healthcare data security requirements and providing an experience simple enough for elderly patients to navigate.
How we delivered
We built a full-featured telemedicine platform using Vue.js and Nuxt on the frontend with a robust Laravel API backend. The system includes real-time video consultations powered by WebRTC, an intelligent appointment booking system with availability management, and a secure patient portal for accessing medical records and prescriptions.
The platform was designed mobile-first to ensure accessibility across all devices. We implemented end-to-end encryption for video calls, integrated with existing hospital management systems, and built an intuitive dashboard for doctors to manage their schedules and patient interactions efficiently.
