Problem we solved
A boutique hotel chain with 5 locations was relying on third-party booking platforms (Booking.com, Expedia) that charged 15-20% commission per reservation. They had no direct booking channel and no way to manage availability across properties in one place.
The client needed a custom booking portal that would drive direct reservations, integrate with their existing PMS (Property Management System), and provide a unified admin dashboard for managing rooms, rates, and availability across all locations.
How we delivered
We built a full-featured hotel booking portal on Laravel with a Vue.js frontend. The system includes real-time room availability search, date-based pricing, multi-room booking, and Stripe payment processing. Guests can manage their reservations, request special amenities, and receive automated confirmation emails and SMS reminders.
The admin panel was built on Filament, giving hotel staff a powerful dashboard to manage properties, rooms, seasonal rates, promotions, and guest communications. We integrated with their PMS via REST API for two-way availability sync, eliminating double bookings.
