Rental Marketplace MVP

Problem we solved
RentFlow was a startup with a bold vision: create a marketplace for short-term equipment rental that would connect owners of underused tools, electronics, and gear with people who needed them temporarily. However, the team had no technical product yet and needed to validate the concept quickly before their seed funding ran out.
The core challenge was building a fully functional MVP within tight budget and timeline constraints. The platform needed to handle listing creation, search and discovery, booking workflows, and secure payment processing — all while being polished enough to attract early adopters and impress potential investors.
How we delivered
We ran intensive product workshops to define the core feature set and user flows, then built the MVP using Laravel for the backend and Vue.js for a responsive frontend. The platform includes listing management with photo uploads, location-based search, a booking calendar with availability tracking, and Stripe integration for secure payments.
We prioritized speed-to-market without sacrificing code quality, using a modular architecture that would scale as the startup grew. The launch included a referral system and basic analytics dashboard, giving the founding team visibility into user behavior from day one.
